The big offering of equipment and things to do, close to lake, friendly staff

The equipment for watersport was in a very bad state of repair. SUP boards had no fins underneath, wake board boot was broken. Equipment needs to be better maintained. I was woken up every morning at around 3am with a running tap sound. It was very loud and went on and on. Not sure if it was my neighbour or what but it woke me up both mornings and annoyed me. Sounded like someone was running a loud tap in my room

Wonderful

We loved the pedal boats as it was free. Also all other activities that was free. Good sales pitch when advertising Pinelake.

As we are pensioners and booked a month in advance the day before leaving you advertising 10% discount. You should think of offering discount for Senior Citizen.

The smallness of the bath room. Poor wifi reception. The noises from the flushing toilets and running water.

There was no hot water the first night. We only got it fixed a day before we had to leave

The private area behind the chalet. The place was neat n tidy when we arrived. Pools were well maintained. Lots of different activities to do. Generators working during loadshedding. ,

We were far from everything. Wifi not working.

Keep the resort as it is and only use part of it as a retirement village

The trip on Loose Goose was excellent and we learned a lot from the skipper. The nightly swimming in the heated pool and sauna was awesome All the activities was a treat. Took my Mom for a Pedi and she was in very very happy with the service ️ Please please please do not close the whole resort and yes it might be a financial decision please try and go back to the drawing board and make part of it available for leisure resort purposes please Thank you Pine Lake Marina for an Awesome weekend 18th - 21 March 2023

Good

The resort venue is beautiful. The Ten pin bowling and other facilities like heated pool, boat rides, table tennis all lovely. The staff were friendly.

The apartments are not maintained. The toilet was leaking and making noises all night as well as the fridge. Also the WiFi was non existent. The shower not clean on the ceiling.

The lodging was nice and clean. The grounds was well kept and gave a peaceful atmosphere.

The braai place could be made better. I noticed that there were some braai upgrades near the unit we stayed in.

The whole set up at pine lake was awesome.

The whole set up at pine lake was awesome. I have enjoyed my stay. The unit had everything i wanted as well as the express shop was well equipped for all necessary stock... The staff was very friendly and they always smile when greeting customers

The security that worked day shift on the Saturday 12/10/2019 should be more customer friendly, night securities was excellent. Otherwise everything was great

Great family location

Almost everything was perfect! Loved the staff, activities, swimming pool options, and beautiful lake. The food at the restaurant was devine. The facilities in the room was all great, well equipped kitchen.

The construction was a bit distruprive during our stay, on my way to the laundry the one morning I came there to find it gone. Was not aware it would also be affected. The bicycles for hire also need some better maintenance.

Relaxing

Sadly there were very few staying and the weather wasn't great so we didn't see the resort at its best. But it must be excellent for young families. The chalet was very good. Comfy bed, decent towels, well equipped kitchen, braai facilities ( for better weather). The restaurant was very quiet but the food was excellent.

Could have done with a shelter for the car as there were a lot of birds in the tree above.........

Staff were not present when going to collect items for...

Staff were not present when going to collect items for activities... Waited over 10 minutes and decided to take the items and leave the activity card. After about another 10 or 15minutes did the staff member actually appear. The tennis ball unfortunately went ovet the fence and into the jacuzzi area which is locked and I advised the same staff member about this. She just said "maar jy moet it gaan kry" The other is that is clearly states no loud music but there was music blaring from chalets and no staff member nor management approached said chalets to turn the music down... These were the only down side to my stay...

Fabulous family getaway. Next time will book a different room type tho.

The pizza from the restaurant - should be all day not just for lunch tho.

The heated pool was too crowded. The sleeper couch in the lounge was very small and not comfortable. There should be cushions for the lounges by the big pools. Swimming towels should be available at the pools. There is no cut off time for noisy neighbours.

Brilliant location. Close to Knysna. Not too far from Oudtshoorn. With lots to visit in the surrounding area. Free use of the paddle boats on the lake a big plus

1. The Jacuzzis were in a very unhygienic state. It was filthy. Like many people took a bath in it. Water was brown with skum and reeked of pee. Offering the facility for free and only cleaning it in the mornings is def not sufficient and poses a health risk. 2. It would have been nice to have a larger indoor warm heated pool. 3. These are the only negative feedback that we experienced. We had an awesome time and the staff, especially Jaques was very helpful when we misplaced our keys. We found it later after he ma

Best resort so far

The fact that once you book in we can use all the facilities without paying extra.

The fact that the day visitors took up the warm pool whole day and we couldn't swim there especially with all the kids in it. The Jacuzzi one water was also very dirty the Wednesday night 7pm when we used it.
